Concert started at 7:30 but we got there around 7:00 and ate dinner in our car to make sure we got a good parking space 😊 (We grabbed Mexican Food from a food truck on our way over)

Flaming Lips!

It was a disappointing concert… Rob called it the worst concert he’s been to 😞 The main issue is that the show started at 7:30, and we got there a few minutes past 8 o’clock, and they were already 2/3 of the way through the album that we were there to see them play. We missed Yoshimi battles the robots. The lead singer kept on telling the audience to keep up the cheering in between the long breaks in between songs. But, I did have some cool props and it was a nice summers night, and getting there and getting out cannot have been easier. \240We just spent $100 per ticket, so it was an expensive concert to not love.

Tuesday night (the night before the first day of school!!)

Saturday night - we went to QueenBurger for dinner (which was walking distance from the venue). It was a gorgeous night. The concert was a little too mellow for our taste, but still a wonderful night out with my handsome husband.
