As my first entry in this soon to be life-filled diary of my journeys through life, I would like to take a moment to admire the life I have now.

No, “admire” is wrong. More like...content myself. I am finding contentment through the knowledge that beginning next year my life is about to become so much broader and more beautiful.

Beginning next year, 2020, I am going on adventure after adventure across the vast open terrain that is this world we live in. Maybe some day, far ahead, there will be other worlds to explore. But that will be another diary for another person. Perhaps a descendant of mine, who knows.

For now, I am restricted to the realms of this Earth. I plan to travel across every corner and see all that there is to see! To taste every spice and flavor known to man! To smell every flower and every drop of life as it drips through the world like honey from a hive overflowing!

The world is out there and I will find it. I will discover every beautiful site that the human eye can behold. When that day comes, and for every day that follows, I will close my eyes, breathe in the air around me until my lungs are preparing to burst, and I will ADMIRE all that is good in this world.

The world is at our fingertips, we just have to reach a small step further and grasp it in our fists, and never let it go!
