We made it to Kauai! The first flight went by pretty fast we arrived an hour ahead of schedule. We then had a 3.5 hour layover th Honolulu. We at lunch at “the Local” I had Kailua pork sandwich which was delicious. \240Teddy ran all over! The girls liked watching the baggage being loaded. The second flight Teddy screamed most of the 30 min flight. Elisha wasn’t feeling well, but after a whole got better, We arrived at our beautiful home, around 6:30. Carli Elisha and I stayed home while everyone else went shopping, Z and K went in the hot tub. we had DGiorno Pizzas and salad for dinner. Everyone is having a great time so far

July 4th, Kevin gave his speech to the family about the business and Gods

faithfulness. \240It was awesome! Each kid received a check, they were blessed. We then went to Hanalei Pier beach played in the sand and water. So fun. Had dinner at the Dolphin.

July 5th Elisha and Mom had time shopping together, dad Andrew and Kaylee went kayaking on the Hanalei River. \240Jules and Gabe went on a bike ride. We had a fun dinner at Kenji Burger, it was delicious! Them we went out for Shave Ice! Yum!

We went on a hike to Ho’op’i Falls. It was so challenging especially for Kevin and I. It was so steep and slippery, but so worth it, so beautiful. Kaylee and Zoe did so good. We had Lapperts Ice cream after, I had the banana fudge on a homemade waffle cone, yummy! \240For dinner we had a pork butt Luke made, rice, rolls and roasted veggies. \240Everything was delicious.

Today we went to Anini Beach. Swam in the ocean, it was so beautiful. \240Andrew and Kaylee swam way out and saw a bunch of sea turtles! Carli and Zoe swam a little ways out and saw 1 sea turtle! We had bbq teriyaki chicken potato salad Mac&cheese grilled vegetables salad and fruit for dinner. A feast! Kevin and I took Zoe to a local craft fair where she “bought” a pretty necklace, I bought one too, they look like mermaid scales. She also bought a kitchen magnate for her family. Kevin and I tried to take a bike ride but failed…. We walked to HBR after dinner and got kicked out, so we drove to Hanalei to watch the sunset!

Today we went to Lydgate Park. We stopped at the falls first to have look. Carli bought a coconut and a bag of lychees. Luke went scuba diving in the morning and met us at the beach later. The kids saw fish in the protected cove. Swimming was fun, we all had a great time! We them went to the Coconut Marketplace, shopped then had dinner at Bobby V’s. Just A&K and J&G and us. It was delicious! I had \240Penne Primavera.

Today we went mini golfing with Jules, Gabe, Elisha, Dad and Zoe. Zoe had a blast and she was the “winner”! It was a beautiful botanical garden too. \240Luke and Carli stayed home with Ted and Andrew and Kaylee went horseback riding. Kaylee had so much fun! The pictures are amazing. They got to ride alone the beach and across a river! Came home and ate leftovers. Luke and Carli went out on their date night.

Today is Kevin’s birthday! In the morning we started cleaning and laundry, preparing for our departure tomorrow. We had a quick bike ride along the coconut coast, fun. Kaylee did well on her own bike. Ted was not a fan, so they didn’t get far…we then rushed to Gaylords(had gas station lunch) we did the train ride…not as fun as we remembered…went to Hanapepe to walk across the swinging bridge, all the stores were closed :( drove to Old Koloa Town, had some sushi,shopped, bought some yummy nuts after tasting. Then we drove to spouting horn hung out there for awhile. Then we took Zoe Andrew and Kaylee to Poipu Beach, played on the playground,till dinner time. We had an amazing dinner at the Beach House, our favorite restaurant on the island! Our kids surprised us by paying for our dinner and their own. We felt so loved! Got some pretty pics! Got back around 9:30 pm, late night…tomorrow we go home.
