We’re on the 6th floor, so the view over Paddington Station is pretty nice. They’re building a new tube line that goes out to the suburbs so right under our window is some construction.
There’s a neat little square just over the bridge by my office where it seems all the commuters in the area go for lunch. There was a couple hours of sun today so I walked over for lunch and there were quite a few people sitting on the steps eating already! The best part of this area... there’s a Starbucks so I can get my favourite drinks. I did learn that if you ask for your coffee or americano “white” it just means with milk - had a confusing moment with the barista about that one!
