The stairs were a challenge but we all made it (except Kaileigh, the height was too much for her). The view of the ocean was spectacular!
We visited the Ponce Deleon Lighthouse built in 1887. Just 100 years older than Mom.
Taken yesterday. First group shots of our trip to Orlando. We stopped at Ponce de Leon inlet lighthouse and museum \240near Daytona Beach.
We climbed the 203 spiral stairs to the top of the lighthouse and the view was worth the effort. \240Took some selfies and made our descent so we could make our dolphin watching reservations.
Dad went inside to secure our tickets and sign the releases. It started POURING and the thunder was insanely loud!!!!! We’re all excited and hope that the storm let’s up so we can see some dolphins and manatees! ☺️
Today we went to the Ponce Inlet and went inside the lighthouse. We checked out the museum which was basically a little village where the “handlers” lived. We got on a boat in the ocean and saw a bunch of dolphins pretty close.
