Today was our last day in Madrid. We had to check out of our Airbnb by 11am and our train wasn’t until 9:25pm. The train station literally has a jungle in it (the picture below) but since we had so long before our train we rented a locker at the train station to put our luggage’s in there and we went to walk around. We first got brunch then walked around to a few shops. We also went to get our nails done. Lindsay for her fingernails and I got my toenails done. I only paid 19 euros for my toes to be painted and for a 15 min massage. I almost fell asleep. We then came back to the train station and got a cider but realized we would have had to stay there for 6 more hours before our train so we went back out to find a restaurant for dinner. We were tired of not being able to read the Spanish menus and were really hungry so we wanted to find somewhat of an American place. We found a place called SteakBurger and we got an American meal!!! There was ketchup and mayo on the tables when we came in, that shows is American cause they don’t have that anywhere else. I got a chicken sandwich and fries (sooo good) also ranch is not a thing over here and nobody has ever even heard that word... I don’t know how these people are living without ranch... then we came back to the train station and there’s shops in there as well and we found a candy store so we got candy! One of the things I got was cholocarw covered almonds (my weakness) they lasted maybe 5 mins..
