Today we flew from Barcelona to Florence.

Today we flew from Barcelona to Florence. We got in at about 1:30pm and then went to our hostel. This is the only place we’re staying in a hostel and I’m so happy that we are because it is super nice! There are 3 sets of bunk beds, so 6 twin beds in our room and we’re the only ones in here for tonight so hopefully that continues :) they provide breakfast, a snack buffet during the day and also dinner. We then went out to dinner with Emma, Darren’s sister she is so nice and we really liked her! We went to this restaurant that had a HUGE menu. And I ended up getting ravioli with mushrooms and grandmas recipe (that’s what the sauce part was called) and the ravioli was stuffed with cheese and spinach- AMAZING! Then gelato is known in Italy so we obviously had to try that out as well. I guess a lot of places here are closed or close early on mondays so we had to walk around to find an open one. I got a mint flavor and a chocolate chip flavor! Once we ate there we kept walking down the trip and literally every 3 shops was a open gelato place, so now we know where to go for a bunch of gelato options. Talking to Emma and some of our friends that have been here have told us lots of restaurants to try so our days are already planned and booked up in Florence. We’ve only been here for a half of day but it is already my favorite so far! Also I have a picture of a street down below and I just noticed it says they have gluten free pizza (mom it’s a thing here!!)
