Start of our second day and our second state-driving in to Omaha, Nebraska
Stopped to pick up breakfast at a local bakery since the hotel didn’t offer much.

After checking in to our hotel in Sidney, Nebraska, we ordered dinner from Sam and Louie’s. It was in the “historic” downtown area. It was also 2 doors down from a bar that was flying a huge “Trump 2020” flag and various MAGA signs. No one in the restaurant was wearing masks..
But the food was pretty tasty. We picked up pasta, salads and a huge calzone.

The breakfast of champions-we didn’t eat the hotel’s breakfast because it was a typical buffet without anything individually wrapped (plus no one was wearing Face masks). It’s a good thing we picked up some donuts from Wall Drugstore yesterday! We got one of each kind-plain, vanilla, chocolate and maple.
We made a stop to check out the Corn Palace in Mitchell, SD.
