Arrived in Munich last night via Frankfurt. After a good breakfast at our hotel we set out to explore the sites.

Too early in the day for us!
Met up with Rich’s cousin Chrissie who lives in Munich. Had a lovely visit.
Left our hotel after breakfast to catch the train for Lindau.
Arrived at the bike rental shop where Manuel set us up. No ID, no deposit, cash, €15 a day for each bike with panniers, helmet & lock. Just ‘bring bikes back in 6 days’ He was also kind enough to store our luggage for free.

Ready to set off on our ride around Lake Constance. The lake borders Germany, Austria & Switzerland. Cycle path is 273 kms.
Shortly we are in Austria.
Handy bike tools for minor adjustments. We soon arrive at our first destination just past Bregenz in Austria. Short afternoon ride 19 kms.

Checked in to our hotel, Hotel Alte Post, Hemmenhofe, Germany. Rained last few Kms. Total 41 Kms with a couple notable climbs.

Good breakfast at our hotel. Typical; \240juice, yogurt, fruit, cereal, scrambled aggs, bacon or sausages, buns, bread, cheeses, cold cuts, cucumber, tomatoes, \240preserves & coffee.
It is 14C and rain is forecasted after lunch.
Riding on the other side of the bay, we are back in Konstanz.
