Alan’s barf bag in phone case contraption

airport dad mode was on overdrive- He didn’t believe I was able to show my global entry card to get tsa pre added to my boarding pass. When I told him I did, he said “no you didn’t, you sure, show me”. Then the entire time he laughed at my bag and said I wouldn’t be able to carry it on…tbh I could’ve checked it for free with southwest, but wanted to carry it just to prove a point Guess what, I did (take that dad). I asked if he wanted to look at food and he said “no, I’m getting a sandwhich at 11:30.” Alan and I immediately laughed and continued to make fun of airport dad while he sped walked for no apparent reason. As we boarded the plane, he took the first available seat at the front bc “there are no other seats”, meanwhile, everyone else got seats together at the back.

Made it to bham!

SoHo Social (thanks to Sonia for the rec)💞

hike time. unexpected waterfall swims. sitting in car wet. going to yard sale and bbq (I just got pie and made sandwich at house) post hike.

Wedding itself was precious. Keith danced a ton (as we all did) and the sibling speeches made me cry. Happy for Caitlin!

My brothers \240dragged us all a bar after wedding. \240Alan asked if I wanted a beer \240and I said “nah I had enough at the wedding.” Someone at the bar thought that my other brother Brian and his girlfriend Elysa had just gotten married, so he came up to them with free shots saying happy hoonmoon. We befriended this man, an illegal immigrant from Guetamela that’s been in TN 21 years. It was nice to hear his story, how he says he likes TN bc no one questions him and he can still operate a small business. He even gave my brother his number 🥹

learned from lady working at gas station that putting a duck on someone else’s keep was a way one jeeper tells another ‘hello’ or ‘nice car’
