Sitting in the Priority Pass lounge at O’Hare in Chicago. Flight at 0930. Underwhelmed by the PP lounge, no kitchen, just meh food. Had oatmeal, latte, oj (bc I forgot to take emergen-c before the trip).
Also, apparently Ethiopian Airlines requires passengers to have a confirmed and documented transport out of SA before they let you on the plane. Had to scramble to book a bus fare for July 31, J-berg to Gabarone, Botswana. I can cancel the fare for a small fee - might do that later. Silly rule bc who is to say how I plan to leave SA? I could walk across the border for all they care, as long as I am not in SA after my 90 day visa is expired.... [eye roll].
