Elephant foot print
Kui Buri National Park
Alex’s dinner this evening
On Sunday we went to Kui Buri National Park to see some Changs (not the beers this time... Chang is elephant in Thai!)
It was a rainy miserable day and we had to do a fair bit of waiting around. BUT we ate the best pad Thai we’ve had since we’ve been here and we got to see elephants... so really it was one of the best days! The drive was quite long, about 1.5 hours each way, but we saw lots of lovely sights along the way.
The National Park was massive with lots of greenery and beautiful mountains. When we saw the elephants they were busy grazing down below and moving slowly along in their herd, babies and all. It was amazing!
When we got home we went back to The Burmese restaurant and it didn’t disappoint!
Other than that, we’ve been busy at school with lesson plans and trying to get everything ready for our exam on Thursday.
Time has flown! We’re now looking at apartments in Ho Chi Minh City and will be booking our flights tomorrow hopefully.
