Today we had our day off, so we got some work done with our groups. Our curriculum projects consist of 3 speaking lessons and 1 reading lesson so we all made a good start on these today in our groups of 4.

At lunchtime Alex and I went to the local restaurant for our ethnography project. The chef, Geeab, taught us how to cook our favourite meal - Chinese broccoli with pork (minus the pork for me). Was very exciting! We actually knew some of the foods in Thai which felt good too.

We went back for dinner with 6 others - so they’re getting a good business out of us.

Had a little visitor when I got back to the room... our cat neighbour Salem! He’s had a poorly foot and has been limping because another cat went for him, and we’re on the first floor so no idea how he got up here. Guess he feels warm and safe though!

Back to school tomorrow, but we don’t start until 1pm which is great!
