Well, here we are at the legendary Herbert Woods for the start of our 7 day adventure. The weather’s ok, missed last weeks 30+c but at least it’s dry, not like the forecast of thunderstorms.

Boats are old and cabins are, hmm, cozy !.

1st full day, picked sam, Rosie, zach & Phoenix up and we were on our way.

Neatishead to Acle, started out lovely, found a great place to moor up.

Acle to Hoveton.

Beautiful day, took out time , had lunch at Hoveton, planned to stay in the pub ‘til dinner, but hadn’t booked, mistake.

Handover day, Zach has to go back, boo, he’s been great.

Picked up Conrad, Diandra & Lauren. Stayed at Potter Heigham overnight.

Potter H to Wroxham, nice houses along the way, stopped at a marina. away from the water the town was a bit rough, rained as well.. but had a nice early dinner at the Wroxham hotel.

Our last full day, and the sunshine has arrived !

Beautiful day, lots of sun, stopped for lunch at the Lion at Thurne, we’ve mastered the boats now, had to park and \240turn them a round in a narrow canal, no problem.

Pub was good.

Afterwards we moored up along the riverbank , watched the sunset, had plenty of wine,and watched the storms erupting in the distance.

Been a great way to end the holiday.
