Sunday: The Day Before We Leave

My bags are packed and I’m ready to go.

The last few days have been spent preparing. We’ve shopped every day since we got here.This morning we packed all our bags and we are leaving tomorrow at 4:30pm to catch our flight to Vancouver from there we’re flying to Australia.

I’ve spent a year preparing for this trip. I am so excited and I’m looking forward to this adventure I get to experience.

Today began our adventure. We got picked up in a limo.

We had something to eat at the airport and headed to the gate. Our flight was delayed due to mechanical problems, so they are getting us a new plane. Hopefully they hold the Sydney flight for us. There are a number of passengers connecting to that flight.

Well it’s a long sad story, but we are on our way back to Nan and Papa’s place. We are booked for tomorrow. The plane had mechanical problems, then the replacement flight was 2 hours delayed so we would miss our connecting flights they took our bags off the plane without even asking us. Anyways we got it sorted out and will try again tomorrow.
