Woo today was busy and exciting. It all started off with the super exciting second math unit test on linear quadratic systems, applications of quadratics, quadratic formula and the inverse of a function. I felt confident when I ended my test (which I was right to feel that way as later today I found out I got a 96%) Anways we had short classes today as this afternoon was jammed pack. So I had English right after for like an hour and Liam just introduced our essay which we would be starting on Monday. After class we had an hour before meeting to head downtown to go out and get lunch. Chiara and I just went around the corner to get a fresh ham and cheese baguette for dinner so we could come back and get ready to go out. We met the group in the lobby and walked down to the metro station again. The metro was a lot busier this time than last time but still not as crazy as the ones in New York or Beijing. The only thing was today was so so hot and humid everyone was sweating buckets. We then speed walked for just over 30min as we had a booked time at Gaudis Park Guëll. By the time we got there everyone was dripping in sweat it was disgusting. Luckily we had bought some water before getting on the metro and had that with us. Anyways we got to the park and had about 1.5h to go off and explore. The park was so beautiful there was amazing architecture but then also so many flowers and trees. We took lots of cute pictures and then got some gelato from the little cafe there. I got after eight mmmm yum. After dinner we walked back into the down center down by the gothic quarter, it took about 45 min. We were then released for free time until 9 so about 3.5h. We ended up doing some shopping at the nearby mall before heading to dinner. We ended up going to this cute little Spanish restaurant on one of the side streets. Chiara and I split croquettes and potato tapas and then for my main I had a goat cheese salad which was what i had been craving. Chiara got chicken paella which which was way better than I had expected. By the time we had all finished dinner it was time to go back to the meeting place, but of course we stopped at a couple stores along the way. Anywho we then walked back another 45min to get home and I am now pooped and jumping in the shower and then straight to bed as I need rest for tomorrow’s big hike.
