Easter is something that happens only once a year and as a teen it’s not as fun. If you don’t have other family that lives near you that has little kids you don’t get to do the things you used to. Like Easter egg hunting, I think everyone can agree that’s the best part about Easter. But when you become a teen all that kinda goes away. You just get maybe an Easter basket with some chocolate in it. Everyone in my family (i.e. my brother, sister, Mom and Dad) all of us are to old for egg hunting so my mom and Dad started a tradition 2 years ago that we’ll go up to the mountains (that are like 5 minutes away) and have a little picnic. Since they’ve done that I’ve had some of the best memories from doing that. Everybody talks about anything and no body argues. It’s really nice. So if your reading this and you have teens and don’t know what to do for Easter have a picnic where everyone can just talk without judgement, and trust me they may not seem like they are enjoying it but they are.
