PRE-Trip Anticipation & Excitement

Count-down begins… Only two days until Carole, Mary and I leave for Paris. We traveled from Blaine, WA. early to celebrate Jessica and John’s wedding in Fresno along with Joe, Katey and Shawn. It was a wonderful ceremony and Jessica was was/is beautiful and John well… \240is a lucky man!

Last night Carole was up late finishing up reserving hotels, buying train tickets and reserving special events for the next 5 weeks. The detailed multi page \240itenerary she created will make our trip very special, this is Carole’s passion for travel and it’s exhausting! Our road trip includes France, Spain, Portugal, flight back to Belgium then head over to Germany for Christmas shopping. I will share the detailed itenerary in future posts

Today is packing day and shopping for last minute items. Squishing and cramming items for the \240next 5 week \240into an international carry-on bag is challenging, but light travel makes life easier on the road.

I forgot a few items one of which are my binoculars. Off to Best Buy!!
