Hanoi Backpackers Hostel & Rooftop Bar

Landed in Hanoi! After long connection in Dubai, laying around on the crowded couches and meeting another Israeli travler named Tomer. I was skeptical at first but so far he has turned up to be a sweetheart who has made our trip even funnier and more enjoyable. We took an inDrive with this Israeli guy that talked to us , Akiva, he’s silly and forgot his wallet in the car.

After setting up at the hostel, we walked to a close coffee shop, there was soooooo much rain! Warm hot rain, walking around with shorts and a plastic bag over the clothes. Coffee was phenomenal. Sweet and chocolatey. Perfection. Then walked to find food, our first Vietnamese cuisine. MET. Was lovely. There were spring rolls too. Went to get a toothbrush from Tomer’s room, and then went to get a massage. Mika and Tomer got a foto massage, I got a facial one. It was sweet, and a fun experience. Slightly not at all satisfatory, but I felt my face needed love and attention. Plus it’s really soft now. Back at the hostel we checked out the rooftop bar which looks crazy fun, and I am glad to be young and alive in Hanoi experiencing life. The girls in our room are young beautiful and kind, and I am one of them. And some old snoring annoying Indian guy but whatever. Tomorrow a new day, and I’m excited to wake up and experience it.
