Hotel in Neda. The Pazo de Merced by the sea is 300+ years old.

Walking today was difficult for me. I cannot handle a pack on the back. Wanted to chop my leg and hip off. Ugh. From this point on our packs will be transported to next town/ hotel. What a relief! And it is not too expensive.

Until tomorrow. Beunos Noches.

Breakfast at hotel in Neda was nice

The sky was beautiful as we set out

Trail markers were plentiful

This was about half way, a spot for cafe con leche for me.

Staff at our last hotel told us this beach was beautiful. We have not seen so many shells to pick up since a trip to Sanibell Island, FL many years ago.

The harbor was beautiful

This was Pontedume, the streets were HILLY but a cute town.

Shortly after this spot there was a trail angel. She had a \240water jug, first aide kit, pears. \240apples, and hazelnuts from trees in her yard \240at the end of her driveway. We stopped for awhile and rested there. There was also a box with a scallop necklace to take and a box to make a donation for it.

The rest of the trail was gorgeous. In the woods with beautiful trees as well as a grape \240arbor and \240picnic area.

Shortly after this spot we became super tired and my knee hurt terribly I walked backwards down hills. Lol!

Total mileage walked today was 15 miles. Our longest walk and most beautiful so far!
