Ahhhhhhhh I love my bed and am glad to be home and warm.
So it was cold and wet and we had an air bed snafu but the tent held up awesome, we had a great time listening to music and talking, eating good food, laughing at Mags.
Maggie thoroughly enjoyed herself despite being tired, overwhelmed at the newness, and having a major meltdown yesterday. She stayed warm and as dry as I could keep her. She loved walking up and down the lane, "cooking" with water and Old Bay, bravely marching through the woods, and singing. She got to taste ramen for the first time and loved it. \240
Chuck kicked ass building all of our fires and keeping them rolling despite the rain, bringing canned coffee, manning the boombox, making steak and corn on the cob last night and generally being his laid back, calm and kind self which helped me to be less uptight, tend to Mags and enjoy myself.
Overall it was a successful venture. Already looking forward to the next trip!

Tell me why/how I found this little conch shell in the porch area of my tent on the second morning of our camping trip at Greenbrier State Park... someone up above was saying hello, I think. We didn't bring it with us, I don't think it was something Maggie just found, you dont find these in the mountains of MD.
