If this is what life is like then we are happy here!!!

We haven’t started teaching full time yet... so that might be why we can still enjoy small pleasures! This week we taught Tuesday, went to the office to plan Wednesday, and then taught Thursday and will be teaching Friday.

Today, we both set off on separate bikes (they’re like Uber bikes) and went to our seperate schools and taught for the morning. We came home for lunch and a nap (!!!!) and then went off to the same school for a class this afternoon. We go on separate bikes, often seperate routes and occasionally zoom past each other which is always nice! The views are amazing and it’s so great being out in the (slightly) fresh air.

We both taught grade 3 and agreed that they were crazy! They were super loud and excitable. We got through it and went for an iced coffee and a walk in the park - was lovely! We stopped for another drink in another cafe. This is our thing here apparently! Then hopped on two seperate bikes and off we went again!

My ride was amazing - the sun was setting so the sky was pink and beautiful. There are SO many roadside restaurants with fairy lights that catch my eye, I want to go to them all!

We’re going for a swim and then out for dinner!
