Went to fish market. Ate sushi and walked around the market looking at all the shops and restaurant and street food kiosks. Bought a Japanese meat knife and had it personalized with the Pierson name.
Met Daniels friend, Maki, \240for dinner. Italian retuarant. Ordered spaghetti with spicy oil. The dish showed up with 50+ hot peppers. After we went to a whiskey bar for some drinks.
Walked around park in central Tokyo and met an older couple who visited with us. They have not been in Texas, but had traveled the United States to have gone to New York and Utah. He was Japanese, but spoke to us through his translator application on his phone.
Came to Daniels hometown of Kyoto. Dropped our bags at the hotel and came to eat lunch at a 100 year old restaurant near the botanical gardens. They are known for their famous hamburger platter

Kyoto botanical garden. Talked to old Japanese man that showed us tons of pics on his camera of birds and other animals. There were many people with cameras trying to take a picture of an orange bird in a tree
Went to eat at a Chinese restaurant next to Daniel school in Kyoto, called The Camel. We picked up an Uber and went to the restaurant. We ate some spicy chicken that made all her lips vibrate and laughed.
Stop by DANIELS University, but it was nighttime took a quick picture, then grabbed a taxi and heading back to the hotel
Rented a bike and I are riding around Kyoto
Went to the Cairo city Museum of Art to see an exhibition. In front of the museum was a car show.
Rode our bikes up to the temple dinner, and Daniel walked all the way to the top of the temple
After our visit to the castle, we walked to this restaurant, Kushikura, recommended by Aumi. They specialized in different kinds of skewered and cooked chicken.
After dinner, Daniel and I decided to stop at another local bar by the hotel. Dina was tired and went back to the room. We ate a really good spicy omelette and some grilled oysters. We drank 5 different kinds of Sake. Our young food prep guy was named Jedi. Reminded me of Star Wars so I was able to remember his name. We left and went back to the hotel around 11, as they were closing. The bar and tables only held about 20 people max.
Rode the train a couple hours South to Takamtsu and will spend the night in JR Clements hotel.
Came to see temple. Climbed halfway and found out it was closed.
Walked around city market in Kochi and ate dinner in open food mart. Sat at a table with 3 guys. Isucku, who was in love with mom, Mackie, the gangsta, and Oscar who owned a food shop in the court but was closed that night. We shared Japanese beer and Saki. Daniel ordered his favorite seared tuna here. We had Monteblanc dessert later on the way home.
Rode an hour up the mountain on a train to Oboke station. We will then take a bus to Kazurabashi. A little girl on the train came over to us and spoke limited English. She was so cute.
Came to pack up Daniels apartment. Midway I went to get a massage and they went to cafe!
Last day in Kyoto. Heading to most popular temple in the city.

Ready for out last day then off to the airport. Having a coffee at Starbucks and then we are going to one of Daniels favorite cafes in Tokyo.
