Last night Joan Shute invited us over to her house to dinner so we wouldn’t have to cook ❤️ Lynn came with her friend and made Grasshoppers! Then Lynn took us to the Kiss and Ride airport shuttle at 9-mile in the am.
We had worked hard to pack very lightly in carryon luggage just to have United force us to check our bags. The worst part was that we forgot to take the iPad out before checking it and now we are worried it might get stolen or crushed. We have tracked our bags to Vancouver so we are hopeful.
I met a Ukrainian lady at the salmon sammich place i got dinner from in the Vancouver airport. We also met a super chatty Japanese man from Hiroshima that told us about a convenience store called Lawson that has better desserts than France for 1.50-2.00 USD. How did he know we like desserts? 🤪
