Our week in the Keys was amazing. Warm, sunny weather, sand fleas and a visit from my parents made it quite memorable.

Our RV Park was very pretty and filled with full time residents and snow birds.

Jackson was determined to knock down a coconut and drink from it...he got a few drops from some unripened coconuts

Jackson’s other past time since being in FL is to catch all of the lizards! We let him pick up the little guys.

He’d very much like to pick up the bigger ones like this guy but we prefer not making a trip to the ER!

We visited Theater of the Sea one day - a small, intimate setting to see native mammals and marine life.

The parrot show was educational and amazing to see what these birds can learn

The botanical gardens at the park were so pretty. I love their version of a Christmas tree

Look at the shark they caught! 😉

Mom tried all the key lime things!

We left Key Largo and headed to Key West for two days - we explored the area on a golf cart

Jackson was SO excited for a chance to drive the golf cart

Looks like we made it!!!

Southern most point!

Dad was a little close to the edge at the southern most point and got hit with a wave!

Strange but cool vegetation in the Keys!

Taking in a street performer

I so badly wanted to see the amazing Keys sunset but it was way too cloudy and overcast

Rise and shine in Key West - off to explore

We jumped on the trolley tour to take in the sights

This is a great way to explore when you have limited time - the drivers share so much history and make it entertaining

We stopped at the Shipwreck Museum

Checking out everything the wreckers were able to recover

Jackson testing out his strength

The Curry’s are quite famous in the Keys (not related unfortunately). There are several homes and businesses traced back to the Curry’s as well as the first millionaire in the Keys

Ice cream time!

Key West Seaport

Robert Curry’s house is now the Hard Rock Cafe

Catholic Church had amazing stained glass windows

After two days in Key West, we went back to Key Largo so the boys could go deep sea fishing. They caught a few fish and succumbed to seasickness cutting their adventure short! Dramamine next time!

While the boys fished, Grace and Grandma swam with a dolphin.

Such a cool experience

Always playing!

We spent our last afternoon in the Keys at Mom and Dads Resort playing in the water

We rented a jet ski and buzzed around the Gulf

Learning to snorkel

Trying out the aqua cycle

Hope to be back in the Keys again some day!
