Tuesday 20th August 2019

I really liked Ps Tim Hall’s training on power evangelism and equipping us for the mission trip. \240I felt it was so necessary as I have no prior experience in street evangelism. \240Most mission trips that I have been before were “mission exposure” trips. \240What Ps Tim Hall taught was really reaffirming what I already knew about our position, our power and authority in Christ. \240Ephesians 1:13 - When you believed, you were marked in Him, with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit.

Ps Tim Hall also shared Ephesians 1:17-20 which was our Term 2’s Wholeness memory verse. \240God has given us the Spirit of wisdom and revelation...that same power was the same mighty strength that raised Christ. \240So, as co-heirs with Christ, I have the same power and authority.

During ministry time, we were all lined up to be prayed for, I fell under the power of God. \240However, I did not feel a strong sense of the power of God even thoughI knew God was evidently present. So, I got up and went to the side of the hall and pressed in further. \240It was then that I was touched by God and cried so much. \240He was showing me again the people in Bali and to continue to intercede for them like before during my preparation for the mission trip, breaking powers of idolatry and the grip of Hinduism. I felt so much love and compassion for them. \240

Wednesday 21st August 2019

Another truth that Ps Tim Hall taught us was that the power that we access to heal people does not come from above or around us. \240We don’t pull it down from God. \240Instead it comes out from within us, our spirit man which God has deposited in us. We had a practise session on praying and laying hands on people. \240

On the first morning, Thursday 22nd August, the van dropped us off. \240We prayed before we split up into 2 groups of 4-5 person.

Our group walked down a street that led to the beach. As we walked further, it became quieter. \240We met a young man whom we bought oranges from, an English speaking driver, 2 security guards at their post, young business owner and many more. \240Some were local Balinese and others came from Java (mostly Muslim), Kalimantan and Sulawesi. \240When asked most of them said they were well and healthy with no ailments or pain in their body. To most people we told them the purpose of our visit to Bali and invited them to the Kingdomcity Bali launch. \240We prayed a prayer of blessing over them for good health, prospering business and good family relations. \240We didn’t witness any signs of healing or miracles. \240I felt that our group were a bit disappointed. \240Anyway we walked back to join with our other subgroup.

As we walked down the opposite direction and we came to a beauty salon and saw 2 ladies outside taking a break. Hariata and myself started to chat with them with my rusty Bahasa Melayu. \240I felt that this lady had great sadness. \240We could not talk for long as customers came to the shop.

While the 2 ladies were gone, Hariata and I confirmed sadness and loneliness and we needed to speak to this lady. \240Thankfully, she came back outside and we could minister to her. \240She is a Catholic and her daughter is living back in her hometown looked after by her parents. She was separated from husband and wanted so much to be reconciled to her husband. \240We prayed for her to experience God’s love, trust and to depend on God and also invited her to church.

Thursday 22nd August, afternoon

After lunch we went back to the same place and met this Muslim man. \240We chatted with him and found out that he works in Bali and not a local. \240We asked if he had any needs that we could pray for. \240

He declined at first saying he was well but on further probing and getting to know him, he opened up that his wife doesn’t live with him as she is in their village. \240One of our team members saw a wound on the left leg. \240He shared with us that his wife had a mosquito bite 2 years ago that never really healed. \240They even had special doctors to treat it but still had not gotten any better. \240So we asked his permission to stand in proxy to pray for his wife. \240We prayed for her to experience God’s overflowing love and power to heal that wound. \240

Thursday 22nd August afternoon

We met a young man by the side of the road peeling garlic. \240We asked why was he peeling garlic and if he was selling them or cooking them. \240With only Kimmie and myself able to understand a bit of Bahasa Indonesian, we found out that he came from another place which was about 5 day or 8 hour boat ride from Bali, depending on type of vessel used. He was peeling garlic for his young uncle who has owns a stall across the road.

Hariata and I decided to go across the street to meet his uncle. \240We bought some drinks from his stall and chatted with him.

His wife is a Muslim from Central Java while he himself is a Christian. \240In fact, he got saved and used to attend church in his hometown. \240But after coming to Bali, he hasn’t been to church.

We asked him if he needed any prayer. \240He definitely wanted to be prayed for but wasn’t comfortable in sharing as both Hariata and myself are women. \240So we called Kyle over to pray for him. \240However, we realised we had a language barrier. \240Although Kyle was a guy he could not speak or understand Bahasa, so I still had to translate making this man uncomfortable when we asked if he knew that he was healed. \240It seems like he may have a man related health issue. \240We left it at that and believe that Jesus is able to heal even when we don’t know what is the issue.

After prayer, we invited him to KC Bali launch. He said he had to man the shop and would not be able to come on Sunday. \240So, we said whenever he is not working on a Sunday he can come to Kingdomcity. \240

Friday 23rd August morning

Before we headed out for the 2nd day, I asked God to show me something that I could take with me to the streets. \240So, during our morning gathering, I saw a picture of a light falling from the dark sky and an image of my dog that died many years ago who was so scared of fireworks and would have his tail between his legs. \240Immediately I was reminded this verse in the bible

“Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”

‭‭Luke‬ ‭10:17-19‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

We prayed before heading out for the day

We met this old lady along the street who has no family and lived alone. \240She was collecting plastic bottles for recycling. \240We just shared the love of Christ with her and told that Jesus loves her very much and has died for her sins. \240

We led her through the sinners prayer and gave her the Kingdomcity invite card for the Bali launch. We realised later that she was illiterate as she was holding it upside down and unlikely she will be able to come to church. \240We just told her whenever she feels all alone, she can call upon Jesus. \240My heart goes all out for her but I know God will and is able to meet her needs where she is. \240

Day 2 - Friday 23rd August

We met this 45 year old lady who runs a noodle shop. \240She has just moved to Bali from Jakarta 3 months ago. \240She and her husband with their 2 year old daughter, 14 year old Felicia and 18 year old son, Deni lived in the shop and shared a room no larger than a 5 by 3m room. She is a Christian, used to attend a connect back home and still looking for a home church. \240We asked if we could pray for her and also invited her to church. \240She asked to pray for her relationship with her husband, for better communication between them and they are apart for long time because of husband’s work.

She and her children attends different churches at staggered times due to lack of transport. \240They only have a motorbike to share among 5 of them. \240They take turns attending church in the morning and evening.

Other team members were talking to Deni, her son. He was given words of encouragement and was invited to church as well. \240She was very thankful and blessed and felt that we were God sent. \240

Friday 23rd August morning

We walked into a minimart where a young lady was managing the stall. \240One of the team members felt to bless her with money for something she was saving up for. \240When asked she said she was saving up for a motorbike.

One of our team members had a word of knowledge that a male person having some pain in his left leg. \240When asked if she has a family member or close friend having pain in the left leg, she confirmed that her housemate, a guy, had hurt his knee while playing soccer. \240Even though she was a Muslim, she allowed us to lay hands on her knee as proxy for her friend. \240

Friday 23rd August

We went into a shop selling antique as Sam Oh felt to go in. \240Sitting outside was a young lady and a little girl about 8 years old. \240We made friends with them and realised that the lady was not the mum but a worker in the shop. \240When asked if anyone in the family was sick, the little girl said her mum was ill and lying in bed. \240She invited us inside and the sick mum got up to welcome us even though we could see she struggled. \240She told us she is a Muslim from Java and has a bad headache. I lay hands on her and pray for healing. I persisted with prayer and after the 2nd time she said she felt her headache was gone.

After recording the testimony, she told us that she has been vomiting, having dizziness the previous day and haven’t been able to get up at all. \240Also before we prayed, she felt cold and could not perspire but straight after she started to sweat and felt better. \240Praise the Lord for healing.

This was the photo the day after when we went back to visit

We were supposed to go the the beach however we were dropped off at the same spot as yesterday afternoon.

We went back to visit some unfinished business. \240As we were led by the Holy Spirit, believing for salvation, both our sub group ended up in the same shop, one entering from the front and one from the rear. \240Amazing how God works!!

We prayed for both mum and daughter, pain in the body for mum and speech impairment from birth for the 8 year old girl. \240Both received salvation and the girl was able to speak and praised Jesus that Jesus healed her. \240She kept on declaring Jesus healed her. \240

We returned to the Christian lady who sells noodle and this time we met her worker, Resti.

Hariata \240felt something not quite right with her lower body. \240As we asked, she shared that she has irregular painful periods, back ache and shoulder pain. \240She also shared her pain of her husband leaving her to look after her daughter and he doesn’t want any responsibility for the daughter. \240She was angry at him. \240We asked her to release forgiveness for husband and prayed the sinners prayer and for healing over her body. \240After praying, she felt pain leaving her, her body feeling cool and her shoulders were lighter.

However she still feel something in her womb pulling her. \240So we persisted in prayer and command the spirit to leave. \240After that she was pinching her tummy to show us ladies that it was hard before and now but is completely soft. \240

Later, she shared that her current boyfriend and family who is willing to accept her and her child has been sharing Christ with her and that we came at the right time. \240They did not force her to believe in Christ but left it up to her in her own time. \240Praise God!! \240We invited her to church.
