Don’t you love American Airlines? \240Agent in Shreveport made me VALET my carry on. \240Got to Dallas and the cargo door was jammed! \240We could stay and wait for maintenance or we could make our connection to San Diego. \240Left a $1000 camera in the carry on. \240😫 Made our flight and ALL luggage stayed in Dallas. \240Don can’t see today my hair is wild🤣🤣🤣. \240Ahhhhhhh. \240Vacation🌴🌴🌴🌴. \240Hotel is so quaint. \240Pain Thai Inn. \240Coffee out on balcony right on Oceanside. \240

Some things never change. \240American Airlines managed to lose our luggage. \240We are nestled into a great little hotel right on the ocean
Cargo hold was jammed on the Texarkana flight and we had to leave our luggage in the belly of our plane. \240Had the connecting to San Diego. \240Left all luggage behind.
But they have now redeemed themselves. \240Luggage just arrived. 😆
On our way to San to find a huge craft and farmers market. \240Day one will be a good one!
We can hear the sea lions from our balcony!

Came out to see the Padres play the Pirates at Petco \240Park. It’s only 77 degrees and Pirates are in the lead. We bought tix at the gate—- got seats only about 10 rows behind Home!
Went to the open aire market in La Jolla this morning. \240Saw lots of artisan crafts and organic vegetables. \240There were so many people there we could hardly move around. \240Popular spot!
Do we look like tourists?

You would think that 4 hours at a zoo would allow you to see each and every exhibit......not us! We never made it to the elephants and giraffes and we gave up on seeing meerkats. \240

Judy passed by our house and noticed this:
Did we have a storm??? Really? \240Good friends to the rescue, Frank and Glenn. \240A huge thank you to y’all.
In the meantime, \240down on San Diego Bay, we toured the USS Midway Museum. \240Again we are awes at the courage of Navy pilots landing and taking off on this monstrous ship during Korean War. \240One of the pilots who served told his story in person on the flight deck. Amazing🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
This is a huge statue of the famous Life magazine photo that was originally taken in Times Square where a sailor grabbed a nurse and gave her a big kiss on V Day. \240
Flying home tomorrow. \240Really miss my dog🐶
