Left Royal City at 9:30am after retrofitting the \240tow bar for the Bronco. Headed to Granite Peak RV Park in Missoula whose Website ended up being more thrilling than the RV park itself. Kids did mini golf and dad made smash burger tacos on the Blackstone.

Day 2: Left Missoula for Bozeman thru Butte. Stopped at Wheat Montana but the wait was too long so decided to keep driving.

Departed Bozeman after shopping a bit downtown and having lunch. Heading to Yellowstone Hot Springs RV park in Gardiner for the next 2 nights.

Departed Gardiner for Yellowstone Aug 1. Stopped at Mammoth Hot Springs, Tower Fall, Upper Falls,Hayden Valley, Yellowstone Lake, \240Lake Lodge and stayed at Fishing Bridge RV park. Saw bison very close to the road. Cooked brats and sausages for dinner. \240Headed out Aug 2 for Old Faithful and Upper Geyser Basin, then travelled south along the Lewis River to Flagg Ranch/Headwaters RV park just outside Yellowstone and on the north end of Teton National Park.

Rainy day. Packed up camp and drive thru the Tetons. Heavy cloud cover obscured much of the view unfortunately, but still a beautiful area. Had a huge order of nachos for the family at Jackson Lake. Arrived in Jackson Hole. Shopped a bit downtown. Headed to Local for dinner. Weather still gray and drizzly.

Departed Jackson for American Falls, Idaho. Still rainy but weather looks to be improving for our last night in the RV before we hit Boise tomorrow and a hotel room. Stopped for lunch at Bee’s Knees, a random Yelp recommendation in an odd spot in Idaho Falls and had some great food. American Falls RV park was a pleasant surprise and the weather started to come around too. Corn hole, smash burgers, bananagrams, s’mores. On to Boise tomorrow.

Heading home after a fun day in Boise yesterday. Floated the river, had a great meal at Owlyhee Tavern, the. The kids tested the vortex at the pool while the adults had a beverage at the riverside bar. Great lunch at Side A Brewing in La Grande in our way home.
