What would an overseas trip be without visa drama?
As usual, I left our visa applications a little too long. The whole family was stressing out that we weren’t going to get our visas in time to fly on the 15th of December.
I, of course, put my trust in the universe and started packing our suitcases anyway. I knew they would come through in time!
On Wednesday our visas were approved and on Thursday dad took me to Pretoria to drop off our passports. I won’t lie, I did have a moment of panick and doubt about whether we would get our passports back in time. But my nerves were for nothing as I got a notification yesterday that our passports are ready for collection. So on Monday I am heading back to the Pretoria visa center for the fourth (and final) time.
I am now officially excited!
