General Conference is so wonderful this year. I’m getting over a concussion I accidentally fell in the Hen house and Spencer gave me a blessing! It was all a miracle he healing I received it was much worse. When I fell Friday night in the chicken coop, I had never experienced such physical trauma to my neck and head before! I could feel the injury and it was massive. I gave into the injury and I gave up any hope of walking away from this accident and being normal. I just wanted to call the ambulance and have them take me away. I had no idea how long I’d be in the hospital.

I knew my life was altered from that moment on forever!

My head felt like it was jammed or that my neck was jammed up into my head. My left arm was becoming more and more numb starting at the shoulder and seeping down to my fingers. I couldn’t think clearly I just wanted relief.

Only thing I could think of was hurry and get the ambulance here and let’s get on with it. But my son Spencer has a lot of faith in priesthood blessings. He’s also been told in his blessing that he has the gift to heal and when he places  his hands on someone and commands and then to be healed, the Lord will stand by him and he will heal them. After I got into the ambulance and with a neck brace. Every tiny jostle or bump on the road was so painful. I couldn’t even take deep breath‘s because it hurt my neck so bad.

I praise God for this experience because I’ve learned that we need to praise God in all things no matter what the situation because it will turn out for our good.

I got to the hospital they did all the check in stuff and got me registered.

The doctor finally came in and tried to assess the situation.

As he gently checked out my neck with the brace on it he asked if  my back hurt and I said no but when he pressed on my upper back I screamed out in pain.

So there was a lot of injury and a lot of pain. But Spencer hadn’t stopped praying for me the whole time. Even after he gave me a priesthood blessing that said I would be fine and wouldn’t have any lasting injuries. He continued to pray. After about 90 minutes and a CT scan, I started to feel better!

I thought what am I doing here?

 My body feels better!

So I took the neckbrace off and I could breathe deep breath‘s. They had asked  If  I wanted any pain medicine and I told them no.

I was already so dizzy from bumping my head I didn’t want to feel more drugged up.

The Doctor came in after about two hours and said the CT scan showed no injuries and I was free to go home.  I was encouraged to take the ibuprofen and Tylenol proof tactically because I would be in pain for a while from the bump on my head.

I had a small manageable concussion nothing more.

I thank God for healing me and for a Son who wouldn’t let me give up as I was When I fell Friday night in the chicken coop, I had never experienced such physical trauma to my neck and head before! So glad Spencer didn’t!
