Lin Albania
Stayed in Roleo House that we found on booking.com. Paid 50 Euro per night.
Lin is a small town with cobble stone streets. Very charming with no tourists. The locals are farmers and go fishing in their boats. We only noticed one restaurant in town and a few small markets. Persimmon trees and lots of fruit trees and it seems everyone has their own garden.
Roleo house is a really nice place with steep stairs to get to the top. Our room had a balcony with an incredible view of lake Ohrid. We had the most incredible breakfast that was included with the room. Really fresh and Albanian. Went on a hike with Baloo. The stairs were steep and we had to use two boards for him to climb the stairs, or his paws would fall through the metal bars.
At the top of the hill was an abandoned church, but it was more like ruins of a church. We also found a bunker on the edge of a cliff. The scenery made us think of the highlands in Scotland. The views of Lake Ohrid were incredible.
Later we drove to Pogradec and took a stroll through town and then around the lake. Cute town , but a lot more crowded and much more busy than Lin. Unfortunately we took no pictures.
