slept ok at farm. roosters and goat and others making noise all night

we arrived at south 40 and setup camp

the pool was open and we met two other couples one from windham nh close to us.

the bathrooms were good

i knew our cousin Wasena Wooten lived there. so we had to stop by before leaving

the next morning we stopped by for about 30 minutes. \240talked about okd times and caught with the pwnding 2024 reunion

he lives right across the street from Virginia State university

then got on the road early headed to myrtle beach

we arrived after. office closed and had to get information from the late night shift.

they out us right in front of wverything where the light was too bright and i. our face all night while we tried to sleep

it appeared it was a large campgroup michael did swim because it was realy hot

we walked around to check out the campground and people.

they had 5 campsite that i think were part of something like airbnb. at $350.00 a night but it included EVERYTHING.

bathrooms and ahowere were not the best

they did not have hair dryers.

did not make any friends there

now onto the better. myrtle beach campground

i love this app so far. \240got it from friends doing a 9 week air trip

headed for scilia farm in nj. (harvest host) was nice but animals kept us awake. plus my 19.5 year old cat was amazed the entire 24 hours we were there. he never slept (Simon).

the chickens and goat made noises all night long.

well it is a warm morning and. Michael,Simon nor Niece. \240slept good last night. it was. \240warm,humid and. windy (which made it chilly from the ocean)

we are right on the ocean edge. at. Lakewood camping Resort in Myrtle Beach SC. \240 we got enough food from walmart. and we also got some shorts and a T-shirt. because we thought it was not gonna be this warm. \240 all set now

went to beach. walked around a small portion of campground. \240met some nice people with a fifth wheel. \240came home and got cool

took out kx2 and buddistick and made qsos with mass people. naqp

had fun. buddistick works great

we are leaving myrtle beach

and headed to rutledge ga. 5.5 hours

leaving 9:15. need. \240creamer for coffee

kings highway. is us17 and that will take us into charlotte

leaving rutledge ga for grocery shopping

we both have a taste for pizza

peach farm was very good QUIET.

rained and lightening \240all night and is very very muggy now. \240we are not gonna go in the caves because too rainy

got off highway michael found a great bar b que place smokey pig bar-b-q

we were on 65 north in kentucky

it is a beautiful day blue skys… not like lst 2 days dreary and rainy and dark

waking up in new haven kentucky at the kentucky railway museum (harvest host)

very nice venue all the trains. \240i can only compare it to the train museum in england

which has the largest collection of trains in the world.

the harvest host venue is very public there are ickup trucks coming by all day and people picknicking at the site.. \240we were safe but i would think 2 times before staying again.

arrived in erie koa right near lake erie

very nice place i would stay there again

nice bathrooms and showers. clean. it appears to have many attributes. \240good free wifi stayed over night kept the heat on. it was. 42 all night

stopped at walmart to get def and cat food

headed to tilden hill farm. in vernon ny

will arrive there about 3:30pm

woke up on a beautiful location. it is probably the nicest surroundings on the entire trip
