Fairmont Pacific Rim

We took a long weekend trip to Vancouver, BC last weekend for the Sun Run which is the largest organized run in Canada. It estimates about 50,000 people per year and I think they definitely hit that total as there was a ton of runners and walkers out to participate. Unfortunately all those runners equates to delayed start times and potential delays. \240With a kickoff at 9am, Todd started running at about 9:45. Bryce and I waited til 10:20 and then after all that, it began to rain (2 blocks in) and then the hail came. It was cold and wet and hurt so Bryce and I bailed out with many other runners. Todd finished despite the crazy weather.

While in town, we also visited the Greater Vancouver zoo and saw a ton of unique animals that we don’t have in the Oregon zoo, swam in the pool, and took Bryce for his first Peking Duck dinner. \240He loved it!
