My knee begins to hurt as we approach our biggest climb so we took it easy and got an Airbnb.
The hosts were amazing, cooked us a lovely local meal and gave us much local alcohol which cannot have helped the next days climb..
THE BIG DAY! We climbed up to 2250m and look pretty awful for it.
About a minute after the photos were taken we heard a mighty clap of thunder which led to a fast and fearful decent into Italy 🇮🇹
