Well, the beginning of my next journey has arrived! I am sitting in the airport waiting for my first flight to Munich to arrive. Then, I will board my next flight which arrives in Madrid! I am so overjoyed to be able to go on this trip. Thank you Mom & Dad for making it all possible! Europe is awaiting!

It is now the 30th, the day I will arrive! I’m excited or “emocionada” to meet my host mom. She seems so nice. I crocheted her a bag and her 12 year old daughter a stuffed cow, and bought them albanese gummies!

I have arrived! My host mom is very sweet, and she speaks great English but is helping me with my Spanish. I had orientation, and I met some friends already!
I feel like I will learn a lot here, both about the culture and about myself. Classes start today!
