Dad and I grabbed some snacks and relaxed in the Admiral’s Club before heading to the terminal for a noon flight on Air Canada.

Day 1
Leaving for Halifax, NS! Looking forward to 11 days in the Maritime provinces of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. A trip to PEI to see the landscapes that Lucy Maud Montgomery described in her Anne book series has been on my bucket list since I was 11 years old.

Richard’s Fresh Seafood
Best fish and chips in PEI! We asked a local working at Cavendish Village where to go for great fish and chips, and this was the place she directed us to go.
To get there, we entered PEI National Park and drove almost all the way to Dalvay by the Sea. The line was long but totally worth it! We ate in the car and watched local school kids jump off the roof of a boat dock cover into the little harbor area where this restaurant is located. It’s a summertime tradition here in PEI.
