Not before flying over the North Pole first though
That’s not the North Pole. That’s like Nunavut or something
I think Toronto hates almond croissants, as I’ve spent 45 minutes walking through the terminal on the hunt for one.
Finally ended up ordering bacon and eggs. Other croissants weren’t appealing to me. Also, what is it about carry on liquids rules? Can’t bring my 125 ml all purpose soap, but as soon as you pass security, you can buy a 750 ml liquor bottle and bring it in the plane with you...
On the bright side, Korean airlines gives free slippers. Paper slippers, maybe, but free!
Oh, and a toothbrush and some toothpaste. Maybe I’m simply used to cheap airline companies but that makes me excited... well, it’s still a 13hr flight to Seoul.
See ya cold weather, I’m getting my lobster tan 👋🏻

Flying over Russia makes me realize how amazing the world is. Clouds and mountains and a lot of snow, and in only a few hours, I’ll be in a country where it currently averages 30 degrees.
Also, the windows in the plane become tinted so that people can sleep and others can still look outside. Currently can’t make them brighter though.
Finally, why can’t they makes almond milk brownies or something? Why does being lactose intolerant always equal à freaking fruit salad when everybody else is having cake? I want cake too
Séoul Incheon airport is an actual mall. I though I could go shop while waiting for my last flight... I don’t understand Korean currency, also, there’s a shit load of employees, as in more than clients, just staring at you while you look at things. Scary, but that vampire cream looks so interesting...
Manila, oh how I wouldn’t want to live in you. You are way too hot and loud. And although very friendly, please understand that when I don’t want to pay for a tour, don’t come running after me, harassing me to take you up on your offer.
Also, why are people wearing sweaters when it’s 34C outside? I think the world has gone mad.
8:30 am walk got me to this building
I swear I can count on one hand the number of hours I’ve slept since I left Montreal. Yet, here I am, after another sleepless night in a night bus, ready to trek the rice terraces.
A little kitty has adopted me and there are dogs everywhere, which makes me very happy.
Let’s see what Batad has to offer now!
//////
It is now 6:35 pm and all I want to do is sleep
Trekking through the rice terraces is completely exhausting! Especially when I don’t take the easy way...
Met some pretty chill people though, and they let me finish my trek with them and their guide. I don’t know how many stairs I’ve climbed, but my feet are so sore, as are my knees, and to top it off, I have a few sunburns!
I think I’ve found my phone’s new wallpaper
This has to be one of the prettiest places I’ve ever been to
Tappa waterfalls
Pupperino followed me until he couldn’t anymore, laid down and started whining.

At 1:30, I got woken up by dogs barking at each other. At 2:30, the roosters all started to wake up one by one. At least, I got the see the sunrise, though it wasn’t an amazing one
Back to Banaue today, where I’m gonna do more hiking (me feet are already killing me, I think I might be crazy)
I fucking hate roosters. They’ve been keeping me up for the past 3 hours and it’s not even 5 yet!!!
Sagada is beautiful though. The people are so nice too! I managed to find an actual vegetarian restaurant (cause most « vegetarian » labeled meals have pork in them for some reason) with an amazing view. And also saw a lot of coffins and met two German girls.
