There is part of the market that is dedicated to street food. I’d guess there was 30 different vendors you could choose from, everything from burger and crepes to Portuguese pastries and Thai food. As you walk by there are massive cooking stations with people handing out samples of everything. I ended up eating some Thai food (pad sew mao) and had a Bavarian donut on my way out. Both delicious but I didn’t eat dinner because I was so full.
The overall market is huge, all along one kind of windy street called Portobello. \240It’s mostly antiques, artisans, and tourist shops but there are few cafes clothing stores as well. Overall it’s pretty colours and elclectic and brings the eccentric crowd as well.
There’s also a few street artists, this guy was my favourite. He looks like he might not walk well but he’s still playing!
