Fátima where 3 Shepherd boys saw Virgin Mary in 1917 and now huge pilgrimage site.

PORTO

Stayed at Porto River Apartments, great \2402 BR overlooking river and above walk with street musician. Took 50 min ride on river boat.

PORTO 8/22

Got up early and rented a bike and rode around empty streets. Rented bikes for everyone and road \240along Douro River \240to light house and surf beach, \240no surf. Has lunch at beach cafe. \240Then biked through crowds to Ferreira Port winery and bought some good port! Hasdtoo many tasters!! Rushed to Muu steakhouse, very good!

Porto

Woke up early and rode around town. Jumped off Dom Luis bridge with Delaney and got chastised by the police. 67’ high! Went to Aveirno and went on lame canal ride. Drive to Peniche to M&H hotel. Almost didn’t allow us in suite \240because kids too old.

Woke in Peniche and drove around to different surf spots. Came back to hotel and waited for Liam to wake.

Went back to M&H hotel and grabbed everyone and went to Baleal island / Penisula and walked the cliff at tip. \240I setup to kite along single lane Rd to Bakesl. Not enough wind barely made it to shore at Bar Do Bruno. \240Walked back to others said Bar Do Bruno looks better to surf, surfed there with Delaney and Liam. Not bad! Flat bottom beach break on long 1/2 moon bay filled with surfers and lessons.

Went to cool restaurant Elemento Delaney suggested for dinner but couldn’t take us. \240Drove back to end of Peniche and watched sunset at cool rocks and had sushi along restaurant row in Peniche.

Mafra

Left Porto for Caiscas and stopped at Mafra palace. Then went to Belém Tower.

Evening before we enjoyed the beach next to the Albatroz hotel. Room 122 was awesome suite With oversized deck with view over beach and water.

Woke got a bike ad rode around early in Caiscas.

Went to Lisbon and did buggy tour

Had dinner in Caiscas at John Bull English pub in great square with other pubs.

Delaney Patty and Tim rode bikes early from Cascais down along ocean towards Guincho. Tim drove to Guincho later to check surf. Ate a delicious lunch at House Of Wonders. Went for sunset boat ride.
