Someone try and tell me that this isn’t the way life should be. Small bit of whitewater hitting your back while you sip on a beer and relax. That’s the way life should be.
Saisonaire life, is literally living your best and getting paid to do it.
So after two months of being travelling up and down the west coast of France working, I’ve finally settled down a bit and settled in Argeles-sur-Mer on the French Spanish boarder.
Granted, it’s hard work, but when you’ve days off and half days it’s easy to get through it. Spending half days in the Pyrenees on a small river with some good people and cold beers makes life all the sweeter.
A quick half hour road trip through the town of Argeles, and up a winding dirt track brought us to one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen. With not a sinner around, we got the tunes on, the beers out and us into the river for a swim and chill session.
Slowing your travel down for seasonal work is the way to do it. I’ll work for six months in France and the money I save will get me back on the road over winter!
