Started off this vacation by traveling down to Route 70 and across Fla.. the weather was great and traffic was minimal. Looking forward to seeing Scott and Claire

Stayed 5 nights at Myakka State Park. Today we saw Scott and Claire, their plane was delayed yesterday so they got in later on Sunday. They plan on watching Carol and Steve’s birds for the next week.

This so far has been the ultimate best campsite ever! \240We have an old growth pine forest surrounding us.. just glimmers of sunlight come through even though it was a sunny day today. Moss and pine needles cover the ground and the mosquitoes were way less than in \240 .
A tree even a vampire could love!
