Bumped into the Aussie from the first day and he took me to meet his friends for lunch
Met up with Edgar and looked everywhere for bed sheets but couldn’t find any
Came back and played cards with the Aussies
Went to bed but then my roommate came in. We tried to figure out the air con. Had a nightmare with the machine and had to get some help. Bumped into Idris, who has just been travelling for 36 hours and couldn’t get into the room so had to wake Andrew (the American) and ask him to let Idris stay the night

Singapore national day
Went with a big exchange group down to the centre of Singapore to see the gardens
To watch the celebrations
And split off into a smaller group with some Dutch and a Finnish person

Went down to Russell’s place to go to a Hawker stand
Found a nice place to stop with some good views
