Today I woke up with the sun rising out of the Indian Ocean. We walked down to the Kalk Bay Harbor, and spoke to the local fisherman. We saw seals basking in the sunshine. We had fish and chips for lunch. Then we went for a nice walk along the main road and ended up on a beach next to a tidal pool. The kids had a great time splashing in the tidal pool. after a much needed Power Nap, we ended off the day with decorating the Christmas tree. We had a beautiful dinner and lit the candles together for the first night of Hanukkah.

We headed on a beautiful drive to Cape Point. Had a lovely time by the rocks in the sea. Enjoyed delicious pizzas at a local restaurant. And then took a drone through different parts of the city around Hout Bay and Camps Bay and Seapoint. So much fun!

We started the day early taking the kids to Muizenberg Beach to surf. The girls did amazingly well. Jaimie got beaten up by the sea. Later we took the kids to a tidal pool and then had drinks and dinner with the 2nd gen cousins.

Chill day today. Went to Muzenbweg market for dinner and drinks. Very yummy!

We went to Boulders Beach to see the penguins. Mom and dad were real troopers to climbing over and under boulders to get to a special part of the beach where you can walk amongst the penguins. It was so cool to get so close.

Had such a nice Christmas Day with the fam! 26/27 of us were here for preset opening and a lunch fiest. Jaimie did sigh an amazing job of heading the meal prep. We gave bracelets to the first cousins with Nana and Normy’s photo inside the beads. Very special day! Kyle missed his connecting flight in Paris and is boarding a plane to Johannesburg tonight. Can’t wait until he gets here tomorrow!
