Took a drive to find Bison. Saw some away in the distance. Drive through a field to try and get a closer look.
Long day of driving. Took Lucy for a walk along a wheat field.
Stopped at Rainbow Lakes Campground. A moose popped out of the trees while Kevin was in the bathroom.
Hiked Rainbow Lakes trail. High altitude. Stunning.
Lucy enjoyed several swims.
Drove up to Independence Pass. Over 12,000 feet elevation. Passed the tree line and reached the snow.
Stopped in a recreation area and made bacon and eggs for breakfast.
Lucy ran and ran. Wide open space. The only people there. Hiked to the top of a rise. Beautiful view. Drove around ‘off roaring’ in the area for a bit.
Great Breakfast Burritos and pastries.
London Fog for me. Coffee for Kev.
Steak and salad for dinner at the campsite.

National Bridges Narional Monument. Only people these. Amazing stone bridges. Took the trail down to one.
Drive through Glen Canyon Recreation Centre. Cool rock formations. Saw a rock llama lol
Thursday night camp spot. Stars were amazing. Lucy hanging out in the tent. She’s such a good traveller.
Visited Price Canyon Recreation Area. Had the place to ourselves. Lucy played ball at the top of the canyon. Took some pictures of beautiful flowers. Turn out they’re noxious weeds.
Drive through Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. Lots of birds and water fowl. Hard to take pictures. Saw sand pipers, storks, herons, swallows, egrets, pelicans and more.
Camp spot for Friday (forgot to take a picture while the truck was in the spot).
River ran down beside the camp spot. Have Lucy and bath and washed my hair. Water was FREEZING!!
