Day 1 - Rise and Shine! An early start is what’s needed for our 1st day… lol, so we finally leave our house near St. Louis, MO at 1:30pm But It’s ok, this well deserved Summer Odyssey is happily on our own time schedule. After traveling behind a truck load of sweet smelling onions, (no tears!), we decided a must turn on to a side road to see a corn field up close! We’ve been watching the green and gold stalks waving as we passed miles and miles of cornfields through Illinois into Haute Terra, Indiana where we stopped for the night. Tomorrow, meeting our old Kato Street neighbor, Sandy and her sweet dog Zeke.
