Leaving Kilkenny, we headed toward Cork. We stopped at Cashel National Mounument
The old ruins of Cashel date back to the 1200’s.

Amazingly, we all arrived in Dublin on August 1. Ray and I were the last to arrive. Kevin and Kayla were waiting for us while Scott was busy renting a Ford Galaxy, and reading the manual, since he would be driving on left hand very narrow lanes!
The drive to Kilkenny was long due to heavy traffic, but by late afternoon, we arrived apt a picturesque town dwarfed by Kilkenny Castle. We walked around the castle and gardens and the found a wonderful pub where we all enjoyed a variety of Irish dishes.
