On a 10hour Journey to Bwindi national park to see the Gorillas!
First stop was at a drum maker shop. Drums were made from stretched cows skin, only £6 for a drum!
Day 1
Arrived in Kampala, explored markets on Ugandas no.1 mode of transport - SafeBoda’s!
The markets were very fun, but got emotional at times!

GORILLAS
Woke up at the beautiful Silverback lodge where we had a lovely breakfast, then got taken to Bwindi national park where we were to trek for a few hours to see gorillas

QEP - morning game drive
Woke up at 6am to set off on a morning game drive, saw some beautiful birds and my first ever lion!!
Kazinga channel cruise

Birthday game drive!
Woke up early to see the smallest elephant ever! And drove to some crater lakes
PLUS I got bitten by a big tetse fly so spent a few mins thinking I was going to die
Chimpanzee trekking
Woke up early and had a lovely breakfast at the lodge. We then set off to see chimps.
Very different to the gorillas. Chimps live in communities of 50-100 chimps and they are spread everywhere. They live in the trees so we got very stiff necks!
