Vacation Launch: Off to BC
We left Portland at 10:30am after a late night of packing and finishing chart notes (me). Lunch at Burgerville for some Walla Walla onion rings didn’t soften Susan’s ragged nerve endings. The music was too loud, the potato chip bag too crinkly, and the air conditioning was blowing in the wrong places. We stopped in Hoodsport for some coffee and Susan took over driving. And once we got to the Black Ball Ferry line, things suddenly got better!
