Monday started off with a family history stop in Schoharie, NY. This home was built by my Great, Great, Great, Great, Great, Great Grandparents. It is a historical site but someone still lives in it!
Stone house survived an attack by native Americans who tried to burn down the home by trying to light the roof on fire
The family survived by pouring water down the eaves trough to extinguish the flames
Covered bridge in Schoharie
Schoharie is full of history.
Old stone fort was a church converted to a fort
Made it to Vermont! We got to host Melissa and her family one night for a cookout
