Met Sarah and Sam at the White House then walked to Washington Monument and World War 2 Memorial (right before Pond and Lincoln Memorial)
We the Pizza for supper while it rained
Back to Washington Monument in the rain to listen to Trump speaking at Lincoln Memorial and watch 4th of July Flyover presentation! Lots of cool jets and helicopters
Went to the other side of Monument between the Capitol to sit and watch fireworks!

Tour of the Capital with Mary, train ride from Russell Senate building to Capital building

Air and Space Museum
Museum of American history- First Ladies dresses and China, Dorothy’s red slippers from Wizard of Oz
Naturals game vs KC Royals, rode Metro there and back
What will Sarah do for $20? Chicken Dance in Metro!
Boswell at Union Station for brunch with Mary Kathryn
Walk around City Center, Louis Vuitton
Georgetown- Georgetown Cupcakes, shopping, lunch at Guapos by Georgetown Waterfront area with Mary, Georgetown University
Back to hotel for evening while it rained, hung out with Sam and Sarah
Finally used “Spin” scooters to ride around all day which made things so much faster and easier!

Museum of the Bible which was pretty great but only museum that cost money to enter
Sarah and Sam then had to leave to catch flight so we shopped around that area and then headed back to hotel to get bags
We stopped at Arlington National Cemetary on the way to the airport which was really fun to see. We would have liked to stay longer and see the changing of the guards and the tomb of the unknown soldier but we didn’t have time. We saw JFKs stone.
When taking off we were able to see out the window the pentagon and the cemetary!
